Repeat Prescriptions

prescriptionsWhen the doctor has recommended that your treatment may be repeated, there are several methods that the request can be made:-

  • Our online service
  • Visiting the surgery
  • By post, ensuring that you enclose a stamped self addressed envelope if your new prescription is required by return of post
  • Alternatively by prior arrangement with your chosen pharmacy

We are no longer able to accept telephone requests.

Online requests are also available using the link at the top of this page. Submitted online repeat prescription requests will be accessed every working day morning at 9.00am and your prescription/s will be available for collection after 12 noon the following working day .

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for repeat prescriptions, except in cases of extreme urgency.

You will be required to see the Doctor periodically to check that your medication is having the desired effect.

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR

The surgery will be closed on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th December and 1st January.  The Doctors and all the staff at Peel Croft Surgery would like to wish all of our patients a very Happy Christmas and best wishes for the New Year

Patient Survey

Out of Hours
During the daytime a receptionist can contact the doctor on call. After 6.30pm and at weekends, when the surgery is closed, your call will be automatically forwarded to the Badger Out of Hours Service. If you want to ring them direct, their number is

Home Visits
The doctor will visit any patient who is too ill to attend the surgery – please telephone before 9.30am wherever possible if you require a home visit.

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone us as soon as possible, so the appointment can be used by another patient.
