At Peel Croft Surgery in Burton on Trent, the doctors, nurses and practice staff take pride on offering the highest standard of patient centered healthcare.  We run may clinics for chronic disease care and offer a wide variety of other medical services such as antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations, HGV and taxi medicals and well person check ups.

This surgery website is used to present all our patients with up to date news and information about our practice. We will keep it current with any developments or other details that we feel are relevant to you. 

As well as a source of information about our practice, the staff and the services we provide, we hope you will use this website as a useful resource for other health-related information.

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR

The surgery will be closed on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th December and 1st January.  The Doctors and all the staff at Peel Croft Surgery would like to wish all of our patients a very Happy Christmas and best wishes for the New Year

Patient Survey

We have recently undertaken a patient survey at the surgery. Thank you to all who participated. Full results are available via the Patient Group link. Your perspective, as a patient, is crucial. Patient engagement is essential if we are to develop a successful working partnership for the future. Please contiune to provide feedback via our new "Virtual" PPG or via the patient survery link at the bottom of our home page.

Out of Hours
During the daytime a receptionist can contact the doctor on call. After 6.30pm and at weekends, when the surgery is closed, your call will be automatically forwarded to the Badger Out of Hours Service. If you want to ring them direct, their number is

0300 1 30 30 30.

You can also ring NHS Direct for advice on

0845 4647.

Home Visits
The doctor will visit any patient who is too ill to attend the surgery – please telephone before 9.30am wherever possible if you require a home visit.

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone us as soon as possible, so the appointment can be used by another patient.
